HOW WE HAVE GROWN!

 

M&G was formalised as a Club in 2013 when we became affiliated to British Cycling and people started to pay to become a member. That first year we were delighted to accept 30 paying members.

The following year we grew to have 39 members and Carol, one of our Peleton Captains became our first lady member, my word how that section of the club has grown!

In 2015 we focused more on growth with Beginners rides advertised on our FB page, this saw a growth in members by 1st October to 75.

 

At the beginning of this year (2026), witht cycling seen as a healthy way of getting out we had around 150 members, with a good contingent of female riders.

The Club Committee is determined to support the club members and continue to see the club grow in a positive way.
